"Design is an act of communication, which means having a deep understanding of the person with whom the designer is communicating."
-Don Norman
A Pennsylvania State University alum and a Junior UX/UI designer. I majored in Human-Centered Design and Development with a focus on Digital media, as well as minored in Information Science and Technology. On campus, I held the position of the Student desk clerk at the East Campus commons desk and a UX designer for the UXPA club. My hobbies include playing soccer, prototyping, and driving. I am an excellent problem-solver and extremely eager to learn.
My time at Penn State has taught me about application development, user experience design, and project management. Ever since I was little, I was also interested in art, science, and technology. I was extremely intuitive and curious about how things worked; After exploring many majors during college my first year in college, I found a passion for technology and human interaction. The idea of using our imagination and creativity acumen to construct an application that solves a problem was captivating to me. Learning, not only the technical aspect but the importance of design and its role in bridging the communicative path between users and tech is highly essential. I am truly excited to begin my professional journey in UX design.
